The Municipality of Limone sul Garda, in memory of Alfio Vasconi, Founder and President of the "Limone sul Garda amateur Photographers Club", announces publicly the 1st photographic competition, according to the following conditions:

RULES

1. Theme: Limone sul Garda. The village, the lake and the hinterland.
   
   
2. Category: coloured and black and white pictures for two age categories: a) JUNIOR; Under 16's: entrants must be aged 15 or younger on 20th September 2010 (competition closing date); b) SENIOR; over 16.
   
   
3. Size: The pictures have to be taken before the end of 2010, unpublished and cm. 30x40 max sized (cm. 20x30 min). Unpublished meaning a picture never printed or published in any way (anthologies, brochures, web sites a.s.o.). The Administration of the Municipality is not responsible for any plagiarism. Only the title of the work must be written on the back of the pictures. Other details should be written on the registration form, that has to be attached to the picture(s) in a closed envelope. A maximum of four entries will be accepted per person.
   
   
4. Registration fee: free of charge
   
   
5. Delivery: deadline for receiving entries is 5th September 2010, posted to the following address: Comune di Limone sul Garda "Concorso fotografico 2010" Via IV Novembre, 25 (I) 25010 Limone sul Garda - (BS).
   
   
6. Panel: will meet between 20th and 25th September 2010 and shall award all prizes or part of them, depending on their disposal. The panel's decision is final to any effect.
   
   
7. Exhibition: all pictures will be exhibited in October 2010. The images participating at the competition will not be returned and remain property of the Municipality of Limone sul Garda.
   
   
8. Prize-giving: will take place in Limone sul Garda, in the Council Hall, on Sunday, 10th October 2010, at 11:30 a.m. All prize-winners will be informed by priority post or e-mail. The winning photographers will also find the winners list on the web site of the Municipality of Limone sul Garda (www.visitlimonesulgarda.com). Before the prize giving ceremony the winners must send or present the pictures in jpg size too, min. resolution 300 pixels.
   
   
9. Prizes:
   Section JUNIOR 1st place: 200 Euro; 2nd place 150 Euro; 3rd place: 100 Euro,
   Section SENIOR 1st place: 300 Euro; 2nd place 200 Euro; 3rd place: 100 Euro.
   
   
10. Responsibility: The Municipality of Limone sul Garda, even assuring the greatest care, is not liable for losses or damages to things or persons.
    
    
11. Publication: for the fact that they participate in the competition, the photographers give up the right of publication without having anything to demand as copyright. The Municipality of Limone sul Garda can use the photographs for his own initiatives without owing anything to the photographer, of which the name must always be written.
    
    
12. Obligations of the photographer: The participation in the competition implicates the acceptance of all the rules indicated in this notification.
    
    
13. Privacy Law: According to the Privacy Law "D.Lgs. 196/2003" (Code subject to protection of personal data), art. 13, "informative given at the moment of the data collection", the President of the Library of Limone sul Garda, declare that the treatment of personal data for the participants of the competition will be used exclusively for the prize organization, at the dispatch to persons concerned in notifications in the following years and to eventual publication and/or promotion also as informative instrument of the works.
