First International Photo Competition

The town library under the sponsorship of the municipality of Limone s/G, has announced the First International Photo Competition in tribute to Alfio Vasconi, a great and passionate photographer. He was the founder and supporter of the first local photo club, always present and ready to immortalize with the camera every event of the daily life, every particular of his area and lake and his feasts and traditions.
The library of Limone s/G with this contest, will increase the knowledge of the town in its hidden but fascinating aspects; a photography research concerning the area in all its faces: architectonical, artistical and landscaping aspects, the daily life and events shots.
Thanks to Alfio and the photo club many young of Limone s/G approached to the photography in a funny way to become then more reflexive and critic to every release.
Starting from this important aspect, the competition will involve not only the professional photographer but mostly the children and young to discover places and emotions that often we don?t give them attention also if are always present in our life.
